Do you get all dressed up for Thanksgiving or keep it casual? My family has always made this holiday a formal one--get out the China and crystal, and wear your best sweater kind of day. My husband's family is quite the opposite. Put on your comfies, play football, and use paper plates kind of day. It took me a while to get used to their style, but now I love both styles equally as much, and feel blessed to get each one every other year.
Whether you are going to Grandma's house, staying at home, or going out to eat, here are some ideas for what to wear.
All Dressed Up
The Overall Velvet Midi Dress has the rich mustard color that seems to be the essence of the Thanksgiving color scheme. Pair with a turtleneck for extra warmth.
The Payton Corduroy Jumpsuit is another favorite color that is dressy--without going overboard.
The Jane V-neck Dress comes in so many colors that are perfect for Thanksgiving. I had a really hard time picking which picture to use. The Fired Brick color would be gorgeous, or even the basic black paired with brown leather accents would be a beautiful Thanksgiving vibe. This dress goes up to size 3X. Go check out all the pretty colors. I'd love to hear your favorite color.
I'm in love with this combination! The classic black and white mixed with bold fall accents. The Gwendolyn Sweater also comes in white with black stripes. Check out the leather earrings and necklace too.
The Autumn Boho Dress is the perfect choice if you are going all out dressy for Thanksgiving. Add a cream cardigan to stay warm.
Oakley Chenille Sweater has prettiest rich fall colors to make a statement.
Stay cozy warm in the Tami Sweater.
Comfy & Casual
DoubleHood™ Sweatshirt - Vintage Floral. It doesn't get any cuter and cozier than this sweater!
DoubleHood™ Sweatshirt - Baseball Olive (this is our favorite DoubleHood!)
Demi Striped Tee would be adorable paired with a black, mustard, camel, or denim vest.
Long Sleeve Track Tee comes in several rich fall colors.
Cozy Removable Layers
(For when Grandma's house gets too hot with 30 people bustling around.)
Pair the Mazie Chenille Sweater with the Charlie Chambray Top (pictured above with the eggplant cardi) and a plaid blanket scarf for warm layers that can be added or removed.
Pair the Piper Denim Jacket with your favorite tee or one of lightweight sweaters below for effortless style.
Striped Half Sleeve Sweater is the perfect neutral color, without being boring. Pair with a denim jacket or cardi for extra cuteness.
The Sophie Sweater is lightweight and pairs great with a denim jacket or leather earrings and necklaces.
